Every month Beth and Teal from Life is a Run posts their monthly goals on their blog. And every month I think to myself, “I should totally start doing that!” I have been thinking that for at least six months now, so I think it’s time to actually do it. I know that September hasn’t officially ended but I figured why not get a jump-start on my October goals. Not to mention, October is going to be SUPER BUSY CRAZY HECTIC for me! Why you ask? I will be in San Fran for four days with Mr. Sarcastic for the Nike Women’s Half Marathon, Little B has a playdate with an old Gymboree buddy, I have my final hearing for my divorce and we wrap up the month with Halloween. Let’s not forget that my normal day-to-day life is already pretty busy. So ummmm…..why did I decide to make this the month I started goals? lol You can never accuse me of not challenging myself!
Drum roll please……….
My goals for the month of October are:
1. Decorate my bathroom – You already know that I have done little in the way of decorating my apartment other than Little B’s room. I have been living here for 8 months now, so it might be time to get started on it. I went easy on myself and choose the smallest room in my apartment but at least it would be a start! (Mr. Sarcastic is totally going to be dragged into this too! Heehee)
2. Cross an item off my bucket list – I still haven’t really done anything on it. Everything on the list is fun, I just forget about it.
3. Tackle some of the stuff I learned from “The Real Truth About How Blogs Make Money” book – I have a ton of things I want to do for my blog after reading the book, now I just need to start implementing them. (Don’t forget to enter to win a copy of the book for yourself! Click here, but don’t wait the giveaway is ALMOST over!)
4. Bring a carload of stuff from my old house – I still have stuff at the house that my son’s Dad lives in. Nothing important, mostly holiday decorations and other random stuff but I would like to finally get it all in my place.
Now that you know my goals, I want to hear yours!
