First Little B graduated from Preschool and then he achieved this milestone as well!
Yep, he lost his first tooth!
I honestly didn’t even realize he was at that age yet.
Here is how it all went down. I dropped Little B off at school one day last week with the loose tooth still firmly (or so I thought) in his mouth.
Once at work I received a phone call from his school. Phone calls from school typically mean one thing, I need to come pick him up. But instead this is what I heard.
School: “Nothing is wrong. We just wanted to let you know that Little B lost his tooth. He got a drink from the drinking fountain and when he came back the tooth was gone. We think he swallowed it. We wanted to let you know because he was really upset about it as he wanted to leave it under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy but we assured him that she would still come.”
So there it is. Little B’s lost tooth is exactly that…lost. Who needs a silly tooth for the baby book when you can have an interesting story instead!?
We ended up writing a letter to the Tooth Fairy and putting that under his pillow instead. And if you know anything about the Tooth Fairy, I am sure you know just how smart she is. She did in fact know that Little B had lost a tooth. Check out what she left behind!
