One day while surfing the internet I happened to come across an advertisement for OptimalRun.com that was promoting their personalized footwear recommendation service. The concept is simple; you answer a few questions and then a member of their staff picks out the optimal shoe for you based on your answers.
I see lots of running advertisements because well….. I run and I tend to frequent sites that attract runners. Out of all the advertisements that I see, this one spoke to me because 1) My former favorite running shoe (Brooks Pure Cadence) has a new model that my feet do not like and I haven’t found the perfect replacement for them yet and 2) I am a big believer that it is always best to go to the experts when looking for a new shoe.
So I filled out the form and waited for my results. Not only did I receive my video very quickly, I was super impressed with it! Click here to view the video for yourself!
Wasn’t that awesome? I love how personalized it was. I mean, I know it was supposed to personalized but I just didn’t think it would be to that extent. I also found Jennifer’s recommendations to be exactly the kind of shoes that I am interested in. I really, really want both pairs as I need to replace my Brooks and I need a trail shoe as I have my first half trail marathon coming up in August.
Some other impressive features of OptimalRun.com is that they offer Free Priority shipping within the USA (runners are impatient when it comes to waiting for new shoes to arrive) and they have a 40 day any condition return policy! The return policy alone is work giving them a try. No more getting stuck with a pair of shoes you don’t like.
Check out OptimalRun.com and let me know what you think. If you do the footwear recommendation video, I would love to hear what you thought of it!
I was not compensated for this post but it does contain affiliate links because quite frankly, I need a second job to support my running habit. As usual all opinions are my own.
