Droid Ultra Review

This post is made possible by Verizon. While I was not compensated in any way for this post, I did receive a demo Droid Ultra to review. It was returned to Verizon and as always, all opinions are my own.

The current phone that I have been trying out thanks to Verizon is the Droid Ultra.

It is very similar to the Moto X that I recently reviewed in the sense that it has all the same features and operates the same. The only difference is that the Ultra is bigger in size than the Moto X. I personally prefer the size of the Moto X over the Ultra but I also have small hands so I am sure that plays into it. I also found the backside of the Ultra to be slippery and therefore prone to being dropped (unless of course you get a case for it) whereas the Moto X always felt secure in my hands. Neither of these items would prevent me from buying the Ultra but if I could choose one over the other I personally would favor the Moto X.

Because the Utlra is so similar to the Moto X there isn’t really any reason for me to go in-depth into a review on it. You can instead just read the Moto X review and consider the size difference that I talked about. So instead of a review I am going to share some pics that I took with the Ultra since it takes such great photos! (You can click on all pics to enlarge them.)

I captured a pretty sunset with the Ultra.
