I just wrapped up Phase 2 of the Lorna Jane Fit Challenge! Hard to believe that 8 weeks has already gone by!
Phase 2 of the challenge incorporated the exercises that were introduced in Phase 1 except the workouts were interval workouts as opposed to workouts based upon number of reps. I’ll be honest, initially I didn’t think I was going to care for Phase 2 of the program. When I first started Phase 2, I was using the basic timer on the clock of my phone and I had to keep looking at the clock to make sure I was hitting my intervals for the exercise periods and the rest periods. I hated focusing on the clock. Then I downloaded a free interval timer app and that made all the difference!
I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner. There really is an app for everything and more often than not the app is free! The interval timer allowed me to focus on the workout and not worry about the time because it buzzed to indicate if I was on a rest or work interval. It was the perfect solution and it made me like Phase 2 even more than Phase 1. It was actually fun! Tough workouts of course, but still fun!
Want to join in on the challenge too? It is not too late! You can start the Lorna Jane Fit Challenge any time. Click here to get more info and to sign up.
One of the items you get when you sign up for the Lorna Jane Challenge is this awesome Move Nourish Believe Diary! It is perfect for recording your workouts, jotting down your thoughts and keeping track of special events. I received the diary for participating in the program but sadly I had already started using a different training journal back in January. I would keep it for myself but it doesn’t make sense to stop using the other one and I can’t use the MNB Diary next year as it is already dated for this year. Long story short, I am giving my MNB Diary away to one of you! Just use the giveaway widget below to enter to win. Good Luck!
