My third DailyLook Elite Box just arrived which means it is the last month of my free trail offer. Now I need to decide if I am going to continue to keep getting it….
Not familiar with the DailyLook Elite box? It is a monthly subscription box filled with clothing and accessories picked out just for you by your stylist. It is very similar to Stitch Fix but instead of getting just 5 items, you actually get 6-8 items. (Except I only got 5 items this month so maybe they are changing that?) There is a $20 styling fee each month (although they have a 3 month free trial offer right now) and that styling fee is deducted from the total cost of any items that you decide to keep. Unlike Stitch Fix there is no discount for keeping all of the items in your box but hopefully they will change that in the future. The best part of the DailyLook Elite box, in my opinion, is that you have 5 days to decide if you want to keep any or all of the items unlike Stitch Fix where you only get a few days to decide.
Let’s take a look at what my stylist Scot, sent me this month!
Item #1: Blaque Label Floral Print Dress
When I first took this dress out of the box I wasn’t too sure about the pattern. The colors I loved immediately but the pattern wasn’t something that I would normally pick out for myself.
Once I put it on however, I couldn’t help but want to keep it! It fits great and I feel great in it! The pattern is still a bit wild for me but maybe I need a little wild in my life. The dress is also a little bit short so there will be no bending over while wearing it….lol
Item #2: StyleStalker Challenger Dress
Once I saw this dress I knew immediately why Scot sent it to me. Last month he sent me a midi length skirt in the same color and I told him that I loved the color but not the length of the skirt. And while Scot is on the right track as I do love the color of this dress and the length, I do not love the style or the hemline.
Item #3: DailyLook Relaxed Henley Tee
Is it just me or does this shirt look like a pajama shirt? It is super comfy but I can’t see myself wearing it outside of the house.
Item #4: Six Crisp Days Curved Shorts
Well, what can I say about these shorts that the pictures don’t already say for themselves?Just no. No, no, no, no, no,
Item #5: Jordan Anthony Vegan Leather Metal Trim Shoulder Bag
This bag is so close to something that I would love. It is the perfect size for me and I probably would have kept it if the hardware would have been silver and the bag had been a different color than tan.
My stylist Scot is definitely getting close to figuring out my style. The floral dress is amazing (and bf approved). The bag and the pink dress were almost me but not quite and the other two items well, those were definitely not me at all.
So will I continue to get the DailyLook Elite Box? Yes but not every month. Maybe every quarter. Luckily DailyLook let’s you skip months so I will keep my subscription open and decide when I am ready for another box.
I like that DailyLook sends me items that are much different from Stitch Fix as it helps add variety to my wardrobe but I haven’t been getting a lot of pieces that I like, which is the reason I have decided not to get an Elite box every month.
