Technically this Fix came in May but I am calling it my June Stitch Fix because I already have a review for May and my next one isn’t until July.
In case you are not familiar with Stitch Fix, let me bring you up to speed. Stitch Fix is a monthly subscription service (although you don’t have to get one every month, you pick how often) that sends you clothes and accessories based on a style profile that you fill out. You can keep what you like and send back what you don’t. There is a $20 styling fee but if you keep any of the items, the $20 fee is deducted from the total purchase price of the item(s) you keep. If you keep all 5 of the items from your fix you receive a 25% discount on EVERYTHING. Basically it is like playing dress up as an adult…..and it is both fun and addicting! Every month you can also leave a note for your stylist. So if you have an event that you need some clothes for or if you just have an idea of what kind of pieces you want to add to your wardrobe you can pass that information along!
This month my only request for my stylist Diana was that I really wanted the Papermoon Rosen Sheer Detail Blouse in a larger size. I had received it in my fix last month and although it was the size that I normally get through Stitch Fix it was too small. My fingers have been crossed all month that I would get it so let’s see if it worked!
Item #1: Romolo Carver Spike and Horn Necklace
I didn’t get an accessory in my fix last month which was a bit disappointing because I like building up that part of my wardrobe too. Luckily I did get one this month and it is a great piece!
I love the layered look of the necklace and I think it is a fun and edgy piece that I will get a lot of use out of.
Cost to Keep: $28.00
Item #2: Papermoon Sheer Detail Blouse
Have I told you how much I love my stylist Diana? She definitely came through for me in a big way by getting me this top in a larger size. Ahhh, I am so happy! And it fits great.
Cost to Keep: $44.00
Item #3: Pixley William Dress
I’ve been wearing a lot of dresses and skirts lately since the weather has finally warmed up so I love getting dresses and skirts in my fixes.
I loved this dress as soon as I took it out of the box! The color is great and so is the crochet detailing. And I no longer have an issues with the elastic waist style so this dress is a big yes for me!
Cost to Keep: $64.00
Item #4: Renee C Edmondo Stud Detailed Spilt-Back Blouse
How great is this top?! The color, the studs and the spilt back all screams keeper to me. But sadly this top does not fit. I have only recently started having fit issues with my fixes. (One top last month and one top this month.) I guess different companies have different sizing. I’ve also gained a little weight recently so perhaps that is to blame. Regardless, since it is less expensive for me to keep everything for the 25% discount, I am going to hang onto this top and see if I get my rear back in gear as far as working out goes. If not, I am sure I can always sell it to another Stitch Fixer.
Cost to Keep: $38.00
Item #5: Skies Are Blue Sandler Keyhole Blouse
Diana sent me a lot of great colors in my fix which makes me happy! I love me some colors. And this top is a great color! You can’t go wrong with bright pink. I also love the keyhole on the back of it. Such a great detail and you all probably know by now that I am a sucker for details.
Cost to Keep: $44.00
As you can see I kept everything in this month’s fix! Diana did such a great job!
You may also have noticed that I listed the prices of the items this month as I have had several people ask if I would do that, so I hope that helps for those of you who are interested in knowing that info. Because I kept all 5 items, I received 25% off which made this a very affordable fix in my opinion.
