Out of all the workouts I could choose, my favorite workout is a very simple one. It involves just me, my running shoes, my phone and the open road. There is nothing more enjoyable for me than heading out with no plan in mind, no set miles to run and no set exercises to perform. To instead run for fun and keep an open mind on where my workout can be done.
I am fortunate to live near a bike path which provides endless miles that I can run as well as many spots along that way that inspire me to perform body weight exercises like push ups, squats, burpees etc in order to get in a full body workout.
Despite my preference for a laid back kind of workout, I still like to have my phone with me for safety purposes and for those inevitable runfies (running selfies) that I like to take. The risk of taking my phone with me however, is that I am going to drop it and shatter the screen. I have had several close calls with my phone but luckily (knocks on wood) it has survived all my workouts so far.
If my phone had Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 perhaps I wouldn’t worry so much about something happening to it while working out because it is the toughest cover glass yet and in laboratory tests it survives up to 80% of the time when dropped from 3 feet high and is up to two times tougher than other glass products.
Let me take you through one of my recent workouts.
Step #1: Getting ready to head out for my workout. Just me my running shoes and my phone.
Step #2: Running to my heart’s content on the bike path.
Step #3: Looking for opportunities to get in some strength training exercises.
Step #4: Take a post workout selfie with my phone!
I hope this workout inspires you to take your workout out of the gym or out of your house! I hope it inspires you to look for opportunities to squeeze in exercise when you can and to have fun with it. I also hope it inspires you to be comfortable taking your phone with you because of the resiliency that Gorilla Glass 4 provides. Now get out there and get your workout on!
