Happy New Year! I hope 2016 is off to a great start for you. I am not making any resolutions this year but I do have plenty of goals on my radar to keep 2016 full of fun and adventure.
I didn’t run enough in 2015. It’s my own fault really and I am looking to change that this year. I don’t have a set number of miles in mind. I just want to run whatever amount of miles makes me the most happy.
I am working on a rough idea of what my race calendar will look like this year and I plan to share it with you later this week.
Maybe you don’t know this about me but I have one tattoo. It’s a butterfly on my lower back and I got it when I turned 18 as a way to announce my graduation into adulthood. Or so I thought anyways. lol I never regretted the tattoo and I still like it today. Thank goodness.
I’ve been wanting another one for at least a few years now but I just couldn’t decide what I wanted or where. This year I am going to make that decision.
Travel Someplace New
Outside of running and my family, what makes my heart the happiest is traveling. Usually I use running as an excuse to travel so thanks to running I have been to some pretty great places.
I don’t have any travel plans set in stone yet for this year but I know that I definitely want to go somewhere that I have never been. Perhaps it will be a National Park because they have been calling out to me lately. Time will tell!
Attend Blogging Conference
Another thing I have been wanting to do for quite some time is to attend a blogging conference. I really enjoy blogging and I feel like I could benefit from a blogging conference plus I just think it would be a lot of fun.
This goal should be a pretty easy goal to accomplish because I am registered to attend FitBloggin’ in July in Indianapolis! I’ve already reserved my hotel room too so if you are going and want a roommate, let me know!
De-clutter & Organize
A while ago I read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. And while I was very inspired by it, I didn’t take much action. I pride myself on being a very organized person but even I need to do some de-cluttering and organizing.
I plan to re-read the book and put her techniques to use to make 2016 a less is more and clutter free year.
Another way I plan to stay more organized is by using this new planner I got. I used to have so many different places that I was keeping track of all my appointments and things I needed to do. I am hoping that this planner will put an end to all of that and help me feel more on top of my game.
Now that you know about my 2016 goals, I want to hear yours!
