In order to truly follow my arrow (my theme for 2017 in case you missed it) I have to fess up and tell you I haven’t been riding the fitness train as much as I once did. In fact, I got off of it quite some time ago and I haven’t worked up enough motivation to get back on. Until now.
With three months till my Florida beach wedding, I’ve decided that now is the time to get back to it. Some might say I am starting over but I don’t like that phrase. I prefer to say that I am moving forward. Although I am not where I used to be fitness wise, my knowledge and experience is greater than it was when I first started my fitness journey, so for me, I am moving forward from where I am now.
My moving forward plan involves running and the #JuliaBFit online gym. I’ve printed off a 5k training plan in order to build back up my mileage. Sure I could probably run more than what the plan entails but I would rather move forward slowly so that I don’t get discouraged about where I am at right now. I am also utilizing the Beginner Series on the JuliaBFit online gym, for the same reason. My goal is to build a good base and encourage myself to get excited about fitness again.
The Beginner Series program in the JuliaBFit online gym has 5 workouts which you perform over the course of the week. Each workout is about 20 minutes in length which is perfect for me because most of my workouts have to happen in the very early hours before work. I’m talking about 4am workouts here. Julia recommends that the program be repeated for three weeks, to get the optimal benefits.
