Any one else counting down to the weekend yet?! Chris and I definitely are. We are excited to be attending the Chevrolet Rockin’ on the Riverfront Concert Series in Detroit on Friday. You should come too! It is a free concert series after all and there are only a couple more dates remaining in the series. Mark your calendar!
The Chevrolet Rockin’ on the Riverfront Concert Series is an annual FREE concert series that takes place on the GM Plaza directly behind the GMRENCEN. What better way to spend your Friday night than by hanging out in Detroit listening to some classic rock and roll?!
This Friday 38 Special will be rocking on the riverfront starting at 7:30pm. While the concert is free, viewing space is on a first-come first-served basis. Feel free to bring your own lawn chair or blanket so you can enjoy the concert comfortably.
Parking is available for $5 per vehicle at the GM surface lot at the intersection of St. Antoine and Atwater, adjacent to the GMRENCEN. Only credit cards are accepted. In addition, boaters can anchor near the riverfront to enjoy the concert as well from the water.
If you can’t make it this Friday, you can always go to the last concert of the series next Friday the 18th. Everclear will be performing next week at 7:30pm.
There is so much to see and do at the riverfront, so make sure you get there early to dine and shop at the GMRENCEN before the concert starts. Check out the GM company store to pick up the official t-shirt of the Chevrolet Rockin’ on the Riverfront Concert Series. I love mine. It is such a great design and it is super soft.
